10 Year Anniversary of Parliamentary Apology

This year is the 10th anniversary of the Parliamentary Apology for the Chinese Head Tax and Exclusion Act.  Chinese Canadians who have fought for decades for the redress want to commemorate the event.  But they must first try to locate the “last spike” the community presented to the Right Honourable Stephen Harper at the redress ceremony on the Parliament Hill on June 22, 2006.
