Interview with Justice Linda Lee Oland

Justice Oland was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia.  She obtained her B.A. in 1971 and LL.B. in 1976, both from Dalhousie University.  She was admitted to the Nova Scotia Bar the following year.  Justice Oland was appointed to the Nova Scotia Supreme Court in February, 1998.  In 2000, she was elevated to the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal, the first Chinese Canadian to do so anywhere in Canada.
