Walter specializes in immigration and business law in Montreal and is a coordinator of a university legal information clinic. His real passion, however, is community activism. He has also served as Past-National Director and Vice-Chairperson of Chinese Canadian National Council (CCNC). He was also an Executive Board Member of the National Redress Committee of CCNC for the Chinese Head Tax Redress Campaign.
